The thoughts are the language of the mind. Feelings are the emotions and expressions of the body.
With our schedules and never-ending to-do lists, many of us find ourselves living in the past, contemplating decisions we made or things we said while forgoing what’s happening today to look toward the future.
Living this way can leave us feeling worn out, out of touch with ourselves, and even out of control in our lives. Recently, I’ve instituted a few practices designed to help me let go of my past and future living so I can live in the power of the present moment.
Today, I am sharing how those practices have been pivotal in helping me show up better, even through some insane changes that have happened in my life recently.
On this episode of Destined to Be, I share a personal story of something that happened at work that I didn’t expect, and how I handled it by expressing my feelings without trying to fix them as I would have done in the past all by living in the power of the present.
