“Hope is not a plan in and of itself. Hope is a good beginning to believe that there can be a better way, but you have to take action.” -Valerie Raver
Welcome to The Common Sense Living podcast, where we'll talk about the things that matter most to you. We're so excited to have you on board! We hope you'll join us weekly for new thoughtful conversations with critical thinkers, professionals, leaders, and individuals.
Hosted by Ann LeMaster, this podcast is designed to add value to our lives and question things if they truly make sense.
It doesn't matter where you are on your personal development journey- whether you've been struggling for years or if you're just starting out, this podcast will help you find clarity and direction to help you live the life you want.
We hope that some of this episode's content resonates with you and helps guide your thinking about how to use the resources available to us in our daily lives. If so, please leave us a review on your favorite streaming platforms! That would be incredibly helpful and appreciated!
In this first episode, we will be talking about stress. But, you might ask, what does stress have to do with our common sense? Stress and common sense are two things that don't seem to go together very well. Common sense is all about knowing what you need to do in order to get through the day without too much trouble. Stress, on the other hand, can make you feel like you're having a bad day even when there isn't anything particularly wrong with what's going on around you—or like nothing is ever good enough anymore, no matter how hard you try to make it better.
Everybody is stressed about something. Therefore, we want to pay attention to this pandemic NOW. Join Ann as she interviews Certified FDN Practitioner and personal health coach, Valerie Raver. Ann and Valerie talk about what stress really is, how to recognize the different types of stress, what factors contribute to our stress, and ultimately, how we can minimize stress in our lives.
