Today on the podcast we welcome Abigail Rose Clarke. She is the creator of The Somatic Tarot, The Body Oracle deck, and The Embodied Life Method, which she has been teaching throughout the United States and internationally since 2014. The Embodied Life Method aims to help people return to their bodies to find ease and comfort, even when life is difficult and the changes are extreme and fast approaching.
Today she joins us to discuss her new book, titled Returning Home to Our Bodies. Connecting somatics, nature, and social change, Abigail shows us how to return to a deep relationship with our bodies, the natural world, and each other—especially when we've been taught to think of our bodies in specific narratives designed to serve domination systems. Resisting these narratives, readers are reminded of how we can reconnect to our bodies with awe and curiosity in order to dismantle oppressive systems and work toward healing. We have a great conversation with Abigail, and we hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did.
