For quite some time, I felt with the physical work I did on the homestead, I didn’t need to set aside extra time to workout. I thought the shoveling, the pitchforking, and the day-to-day activity was enough. However, as I’ve got older and my metabolism has shifted my attitude has changed. While I’ll never be one of the workout warriors you see on Instagram, I’ve realized that making the extra time to workout is not only important, but it’s essential for my long-term health and well-being. In today’s episode, I explain how I got started, why working out doesn’t have to be intimidating, and how it’s already helped me in a very short time. If you’ve ever been interested in working out, find out why I changed my mind and how easy it is to get started!
