Cam worked diligently on his run leg the following year to finish fifth place at the 2019 Ironman World Triathlon championships, but then in 2020 Cam was pulled back into the world professional cycling peloton when he donned the team Ineos Grenadiers colours to fill a vacant roster spot instantly impressing team Ineos Grenadiers with his performances and work ethic.
