Pavel Sivakov turned professional in 2017, signing a three-year contract with, then Team Sky, now team INEOS Grenadiers. Pavel finished ninth in the Giro d'Italia in 2019, which was his second Grand Tour. Pavel also competed in the 2020 edition of the Tour de France and the 2020/21 Tokyo Olympic Games.
At the time of recording Pavel was sitting at the top of Sierra Nevada having just completed a monstrous training week that included 18,609m of elevation across 767kms 28:35 mins in the saddle. He was in the final stages for his preparation for the 2022 Edition of the Tour of the Alps, a five-day stage race set between Italy and Austria in the stunning Alps, a race which in 2019 offered Pavel his very first victory in the professional cycling peloton taking out stage two.
