The hills of Baltimore made the experience challenging, but the pride she got from hobbling across the finish line, was enough to make her trade her elliptical for the road. Since then she has completed numerous half marathons and full marathons, and and become a RRCA certified long distance run coach.
She is a physical therapist assistant specialising in neurophysiology. Alison’s number one priority is reducing the risk of injury before toeing the start line.
