Jocelyn is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, pelvic floor specialist and Level 2 Crossfit Trainer. She specializes in helping women get back to fitness after a hysterectomy, myomectomy or endometriosis excision without pain, prolapse or peeing themselves. Jocelyn was inspired to do this work through her own experience with uterine fibroids. Having 3 open abdominal surgeries between 26 and 32 years old, she saw the lack of resources for women healing from these major operations. Women deserve better support.
Today we are discussing all the things you guys! We start off talking about hysterectomies, endometriosis, adenomyosis, what these are, and that having these surgeries doesn't mean you life is over, you can find a path back to life, lifting and all the things, and that's where Jocelyn comes in.
We also discuss prolapse, what It is, when it begins and what we can do about it. How and where hormone therapy fits in. To be clear hormone therapy can't work if you're not supporting yourself with adequate nutrition. Strength Training is the magic pill!!!
