Title: Exploring the Current Needs of Physical and Health Educators: Listening to Understand
When: Thursday, October 13, 2022 4:00-5:15pm (Eastern)
Overview: The October PETE Collaborative will be an “active listening” session for higher education faculty about the current needs of Physical Education and Health professionals. This session is designed to help broaden our perspectives of current realities of schools, enhance our understanding about issues facing K-12 practitioners, and explore mechanisms for building (new or enhancing the on-going) partnerships across higher education, K-12 schools, professional associations, and others invested in quality school-based Health and Physical Education.
Join us as we welcome a panel of colleagues from across different segments of the professional community – including Health/PE Department Chairs, School Administrators, State Department of Education, and Community College settings. Bring your perspectives, experiences, and ideas to this dynamic active listening session. Prepare to listen, consider, and explore ideas about how we can build stronger and more strategic partnerships to support current K-12 Health and Physical Educators.
