After two episodes related to rugby, we now turn our attention to TENNIS, and with 24 years of Sports Therapy at Wimbledon under his belt, who better to talk with than special guest Steve Bedford.
As well as working at every Wimbledon tennis championships since 1999, Steve Bedford has also worked at all of the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 in London, spent 2 seasons with Arsenal football club (2008-10) and 2022-2023 with Brentford FC. He has lectured at a number of UK universities and has authored the books 'Sports Performance Massage', 'Recovery from Strenuous Exercise' and 'Muscular Cramp in Athletes'.
In this episode of the Sports Therapy Association Podcast, Steve shares with us details of his journey since qualifying in Swedish Massage in 1995 and shows how if you put yourself out there & work hard at the beginning, the sky is the limit.
