“Older individuals in general are better at prioritizing time,” says Ashley Whillans, “But one thing I’ve also seen in some of my data is that older adults struggle a little bit to change their habits around work and meaningful pursuits outside of work.” An assistant professor at Harvard, a rising star in behavioral science, and author of the book Time Smart: How to Reclaim Your Time and Live a Happier Life, Whillans is a wealth of information.
