The Children‘s Media Conference
TV & Film
Social-curriculum producers have long sought to imbue their content with messages that teach empathy, resilience and respect for others, but the timing has never felt more apt for activism. In a post- truth world, we need more than ever to raise the banner for tolerance, diversity, inclusiveness and de-stigmatisation of all things ‘different’. This broad discussion panel assembles professionals from the television, gaming, advocacy, education and broadcast sectors with a vision to make the kids’ content landscape a kinder, more empathetic place, where lazy character stereotyping is a thing of the past.
