In Part 2 of my discussion with Jaime Chambers, Jaime and I dive further into the detail of intermittent fasting (IF). We talk about the impact of IF on gut health and ageing. We discuss who IF is and is not appropriate for. We look at how athletes, and even weekend warriors, can incorporate IF into their training and lifestyle. We highlight common mistakes people make when first adopting IF and how those mistakes may hinder weight loss. Finally, we answer questions from you, the listeners, about how IF can work with early morning exercise, milk in your tea or coffee, how IF may affect your bowels, the safety of IF long term and how shift workers can use IF effectively.
