In this episode, David Accardo joins me to discuss his new venture, Stix and Stone. What started out as a way for him to have some weight plates and a power rack in his back yard has turned into a business providing an extremely valuable source of lifting equipment and instruction for athletes all over the globe. Early on in this Covid-19 Pandemic, exercise equipment prices went through the roof and sporting good stores' shelves are empty. Now you can make your own plates, for pennies on the dollar, that are tough, customizable, and ready to use in the less time than it would take for plates to get shipped to your door!

David Accardo MS, CSCS, Owner of Stix and Stone and Maker of the DA Plate Mold, has been a Strength and Conditioning coach for over a decade, but when Covid-19 hit America, he found a new way to get his lifts in during quarantine and social distancing. Now he is shipping concrete molds across the globe to help others do the same thing.
