The Inspirational Runner Podcast
Sports:Running
Another great episode this week as we speak to Zak Hanna from Dromara Co.Down Newcastle AC.
I have watched Zak scale the Mourne Mountains during the Hill & Dales taking many wins so its no surprise to me that he is becoming one of Ireland's best mountain runners.
He started off his young career competing on horseback and he’s taken many podiums on both the road and xc bike, but his transition into mountain running has catapulted him into the International mountain scene taking 13th place in the recent Mountain Running World Cup and a recent 7th in Snowdon which was the best time taken by someone from Ireland since his coach Rich. Rodgers held the record in 1991.
Zak has a lot to offer the mountain scene, a natural talent but he works hard for his success!
