'I Don’t Know What to Eat’ – my book about food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities with Helen Adams
The difference between allergies, intolerances and sensitivities. Some less well-understood issues that may arise, such as oral allergy syndrome, and the connection between foods and hayfever. Is intolerance testing worthwhile, and what should you do if your client comes back to you with a report that shows a lot of food intolerances, or intolerances to foods that she never eats. How can you manage a suitable exclusion diet so that your client feels they have MORE to eat rather than less.
Speaker Bio:
Helen Adams is a BANT-registered nutritional therapist and functional medicine practitioner, trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine. As well as running a busy clinic, she is a nutrition advisor for BBC Radio Wiltshire. She likes to recommend resources to her clients, but couldn’t find a suitable book about food intolerances – so she wrote one herself! Published on Amazon, it’s proved invaluable to both practitioners and clients alike.
