Kate Cook and Oliver Barnett from The London Clinic of Nutrition talk about his inspirations and influences that have inspired Oliver through his work with The London Clinic of Nutrition. Having treated over 15,000 patients this is a ‘must listen to’ talk.
Speaker Bio:
Oliver is considered one of the UK’s leading health experts who features regularly in the national press and has lectured at all of the UK’s top nutritional colleges and a number of corporate institutions. He has now treated over 15,000 patients, helping them regain their health from a myriad of health conditions. He has a special interest in complex chronic illness, unexplained illness, Lyme disease, thyroid health, autoimmune conditions especially Hashimoto’s and rheumatoid arthritis, and mould illness.
Oliver has always been a keen cook and developed an early interest in food nutrition. He studied naturopathy nutrition for five years, herbal medicine, functional medicine (being one of the few fully certified functional medicine practitioners in the UK) and consistently does 400-500 hours a year of CPD to ensure that he is at the top of his game in all of his special interest areas.
Oliver has a keen interest in energetic medicine and mind/body medicine, usually preferring patients to emphasise the lifestyle changes over the dietary, supplementation and herbal medicine options He ensured that after being a sole practitioner within three years he would steer the London Clinic of Nutrition being given the highest award within the industry as the outstanding practice of the year award; and also ensuring that the London Clinic of Nutrition is the most highly reviewed functional medicine practice in the UK on Google.
