In This Episode
Before I ended the conversation with Stacie, I have to admit I cried. Not because I felt sorry for her – it was because, at that very moment, I felt selfish. Her words made me take an introspective look at the way I view and react to things in my personal life.
While you’ll hear how she’s handles a life-altering car accident, PTSD, epilepsy and cerebral palsy – you’ll understand why she is such a powerful writer and speaker.
When I asked her to tell me about the SWITCH in her life she said it was the car accident and shared with me how grateful the accident has made her.
Learn More About
Stacie Kiselman is a professional freelance writer and author. She started her business right after graduating college when she was diagnosed with Epilepsy following a car accident.
After years of endlessly battling this chronic illness, Stacie suffered from PTSD. Her way of coping was writing. She started journaling 12 years of her life from a third party perspective. What started out as a little project meant for Stacie’s recovery turned into a book; a book that will help others who might be struggling in the same or similar situations.
Stacie aims to educate and end the stigma around invisible illnesses, specifically chronic illnesses and mental illnesses. She wants you to know that life is more than just a disability.
There’s so much more to live for. Stacie’s upcoming memoir, 12 YEARS A WOMAN: MY JOURNEY TO HAPPINESS, will be released in November 2020.
