Are seed oils REALLY inflammatory? If you are just the slightest bit interested in health, wanting to eat to feel your best, you must have had this thought before, haven’t you?
In today’s episode, I hope to clear some of the air and give you an honest perspective.
When discussing these oils, we are talking about Canola (rapeseed), corn, cottonseed, grapeseed, rice bran, safflower, soy, and sunflower oils. These are what’s called “the hateful “ by some, Even if you don’t purchase these oils and cook with them at home, other places you may possibly consume them are when eating out (restaurants, fast food, pre-made food from stores) or packaged foods and snacks and some baked goods.
Seed oils have a mix of unsaturated and saturated fats and a mix of Omega 6s and Omega 3s. Overall, they fall into the category of polyunsaturated and they are higher in Omega 6s than saturated fats.
Will talk about the claims about seed oils in this episode, and whether or not they are true. Listen to today’s episode to learn more!
