Chris Thompson is one of Britain’s best distance runners. He’s won silver in the 10,000m at the 2010 European Championships, is a three-time winner of the Great South Run, held and still holds British records for 5k and 10k and won the 2021 British Marathon trial a month shy of his 40th birthday. Yeah, that guy. The one who did the shouting.
