I first came across Kelly McGonigal watching her TED talk on stress via YouTube. When you have over 20 million views- and a hot topic- it tends to draws people in. I loved her energy and her passion for the topic. Little did I know there was so much more to her, her career and the work she is doing now. Kelly, is a research psychologist, lecturer at Stanford University, and an award-winning science writer. Her scientific research focuses on the mind-body connection, and how to cultivate resilience and compassion.
