Since I know this is a time of year that our clients really struggle with food guilt, trying to avoid all the holiday food but then end up eating all the Christmas cookies when no one is around, I wanted to help you through these unique challenges.
I think we can all agree that there’s more “off limits food” around this time of the year more than any other time. And maybe it’s the prolonged time frame that messes with us too- from Halloween to New Years, this tends to be a time where people feel like there’s no point to “try” so they give up on their diets or eating healthy with the resolve that they will just start over in the New Year.
But this mindset is caused from the all or nothing mentality. So in today’s episode I explain what exactly is the all or nothing mentality, different ways it shows up in our relationship with food, especially during the holiday season, and two easy ways to challenge it over the next month.
If you are ready to let go of the all or nothing mentality around food, to make peace with your body and discover health that promotes physical and mental well-being, you can join our winter cohort of Food & Body Peace Playbook. By doing so, you’ll feel confident that you are entering into the New Year with a plan for how to transform your relationship with food and your body, so that you are unrecognizable this time next year. Standard and VIP options available this round!
If you are interested in private coaching, the holiday season and beginning of the New Year is always a busy time of the year for our practice. If you’re looking to receive the highest level of care we offer at NMN, reach out now to guarantee you can get started before March of 2023.
