Caitlin Adams chats with Brady as she comes off the World Cross Country Trials at Stromlo Park, where she secured her spot on the team by placing third and recaps her performance and mental approach. She talks about some of the training and races in the lead up to it, including overcoming the disappointment of her Zatopek performance. Caitlin shares her favourite training sessions, and how Team Tempo adjusted during the covid period.
Caitlin recalls her experience representing Australia at the 2019 World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark going into mental preparation strategies and who she hopes to race against at Bathurst.
She takes things back to when she got into running as a junior, out in regional South Australia and shares the culture and training structure within Team Tempo, wrapping up with her plans for the year ahead and how she unwinds away from running and teaching.
