In this exciting episode of Thrive Bites, I sit down with Dr. Engee Ibe on intentional living, self-care, and discovering our why. She takes us on her own personal and professional and brings us her life lessons. You don't want to miss this!
Dr. Ibe is a board-certified internal medicine physician who serves as an assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine a role she enjoys so much as it allows her to work with residents. Her passion for Mind, Body, and Spiritual connection as it pertains to comprehensive healthcare, prevention, and healing led her to integrative medicine. She is currently a fellow at the Andrew Weil Integrative medicine program.
As an Internal Medicine /Integrative Medicine Physician, she is experienced in managing complex patients with multiple chronic diseases. She understands the multiple social, emotional, physical, and financial barriers often making comprehensive care difficult.
She is also a Physician life coach who enjoys working with high achieving women to help them get more self-aware and move from a reactive to a proactive life. Her role as both a physician and a life coach helps her create harmony in her career.
When she is not caring for patients, working with her coaching clients, or volunteering at one of her medical mission.Dr. Ibe enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three kids. She is a member of many organizations including the American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine, and also the chair-lady of a non-profit organization focused on addressing the needs of widows in society.
