Why Be An Optimist is the question I ask of you today. Have you ever thought about this question? I believe there are many reasons to be an optimist, although I think many individuals may not feel they have a choice. In my opinion, you do have a choice as to whether you are seen as an optimist or a pessimist. This depends on you. Mindfulness can help you think differently and it can help you be seen differently by others. Today I am sharing 5 reasons why you will become more of an optimist as you grow your mindfulness practice.

What are your thoughts about the above quote? Do you think that an optimist does indeed see opportunities in EVERY difficulty?
Here are 5 reasons why I believe you will become more of an optimist as you grow your mindfulness practice.
Life Is Valuable
Living in the moment helps you realize that life is worth living. Once you discover that you can be content and grounded in this very moment, you realize that life can give you pleasure if you allow yourself to welcome mindfulness into your life.
Positive Thoughts Feel GoodMindfulness helps you identify what you are thinking – once you do, you realize that positive thoughts feel good.
Gratitude Pumps Me UpGratitude is part of mindfulness and gratitude helps me feel positive, happy, and optimistic. After a one-hour run while doing self-hypnosis, I feel energized and eager to face the world.
Optimists Attract OptimistsOptimistic people don’t usually want to be around pessimistic people. Optimists seek out each other and as a result they prosper and find ways to thrive.
Be Happy NowMindfulness teaches us to Be Happy Now. Being happy is comfortable, cozy, relaxing, less stress than other mindsets, and just plain feels good.
What does mindfulness add to your life? I'd be interested to hear from you. Send me an email at, bruce@mindfulnessmode.com and let me know your thoughts. Also, if you have a topic you'd like me to cover on my Sunday episodes, I'd love to hear that too. Thanks so much for joining me.
