Those of you playing along at home will know I'm in the throws of writing my first book.
And if you've been following my Insta stories you'll also know that I am very vocal about how HARD the process is. But I go further than this - I also often refer to my writing as UTTER SHIT.
Recently, I got called out on this negative self talk and the fact that my writing is not in fact, shit. In fact it's pretty good so WHY am I choosing to talk shit about myself in this way?
Well the answers were really interesting and I think useful for anyone else who is in the habit of talking themselves down, not seeing their worth or downplaying their talents.
