Sharon Ehrlich (pronounced ERR-LICK) is a Bronx raised Afro-Latina and proud native New Yorker.
Her business career started in the health care industry where she spent nearly a decade as a hospital administrator in both public and private hospitals in New York City.
A love story led to her permanently relocating Austria where she quickly came to the realization that her MBA and previous professional experience was nearly useless in her search for employment owing to her not being able to speak German.
After a brief stint as an English teacher, she pursued a temporary position at IBM Austria which evolved into a 13-year career where she advanced through the ranks in a variety of roles, leading both physical and virtual teams throughout Europe, Turkey, and Russia.
Sharon is a passionate advocate of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace. She completed a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University to gain a research based understanding of the impact of DEI&B on performance and organizational culture.
She shared;
- Harnessing all of your transferable skills
- The importance of being clear of your career values and non- negotiables
- The power of utilizing a coach when you need support navigating your career change
- Being clear on your rationale for career change
- Career success as part of the sandwich generation.
