In this Episode, Garson Skelton, CSCS*D, RSCC, USAW1, CISSN, joins me to discuss his new passion project, Squats and Hops. Garson is both a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Beer Server. Squats and Hops is all about finding balance and consistency between training and nutrition, with enough flexibility so that you can enjoy a craft beer every now and again. Maybe you don't drink beer, but you like bbq, cupcakes, or ice cream. The Squats and Hops model of training and nutrition (within the framework of moderation) works for those things, too. Most online training and nutrition programs make no room for things like beer, cookies, and ice cream. Squats and Hops is different. You can hit a lifting PR, drop some inches and get back into those old jeans, or achieve nearly any other training or aesthetic goal, and celebrate with a beer. Garson can show you how!
