Traveling can be difficult but it can also be a challenge you can face and win. I love a competition. Go USA women's xc ski team.! What determination and what a race. They wanted it and were not going to let the favoriites get them. The same stratagy can be applied to adopting a plant based diet. Know your why. Keep a log and statagize. Make it a game and set daily goals. Develop your own play book. When I started coaching youth basketball it was just to let kids play. The next thing I knew we were in the playoffs and tied with minutes to go. A player asked me if we had a play? Not the best stratagy to wait until the pressure is on. If you practice being plant based at home then when you travel you can apply the same stratagies when traveling. You have a play or a go to meal. You should never have to compromise your health even for food. One meal can hurt.
