When I was in school, we were taught about how bad the quads were with regards to movement and knee pain. Over the years I have realized that quad strengthening is important for sport performance and knee pain. These are my thoughts on how the concepts in therapy swung towards the glutes and away from the quads and what lead to demonization of the quads. Let me know your thoughts.
