Tyler Vitek is currently a coach at CSCF and today he shares his fitness journey on the podcast. Tyler started CrossFit almost 10 years ago. He was helping his brother start up his affiliate at the young age of 19. He got hooked into the sport real early and spent the next few years pursuing the goal, like many others at that time, of making the CrossFit Games. He soon found out that this sport was growing quickly and the pool of competitive athletes was growing. After facing a few injuries and assessing how much time he was spending on working out he decided to focus on working out for longevity over sport. It has been a back and forth effort to maintain this perspective but at 28 years of age he definitely has a better handle on it than he did at 21. His story reminds us to keep working out in a healthy perspective. Enjoy!
