Meet TJ Ryan—he is 25 years old. TJ is the Director of Scouting for the A&M men’s basketball team. He is originally from St. Petersburg, FL, but has been working out here in College Station at BoomFit for the past 3 months.
As a kid, fitness was just something you were apart of according to TJ. He played baseball and basketball both until high school where he decided to focus on basketball.
TJ grew up being self conscious about his body and how he looked—something we can all relate to. In high school he started to get serious about working out, and tried out various programs like P90X and Insanity. After opting to focus on his passion for coaching instead of being a player, though, he lost the drive to workout and let his fitness slide.
Now, he’s focused and back at it. Listen in to hear the rest of his story and find out how he turned things around in terms of his health and fitness!
