The College Success Habits Podcast
Education:Self-Improvement
Ep #31 - In this week's episode we discuss a life organizational structure I developed that allows us to break down our lives in such a way that we can easily see where we are growing in the right direction and where we could use some attention.
My program, Life's Blueprint, is based on the three spheres: Career, Self, and Relationships and the four components of each: Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual. This equates to twelve quadrants - or rooms in your house of life. School is the career sphere for those in college. Of course, it can be both college and work too - regardless if you are a traditional or non-traditional student.
I have realized everything in life can be categorized into these three spheres. When you organize your life in this manner you can quickly see where it is you are needing to put more effort into your growth. I discovered this at the beginning of my sobriety when I was trying to figure out why I felt great about certain areas of my life but not so great in other areas.
By compartmentalizing your life into these twelve quadrants you will better adapt your focus to what is really dragging on you and also be able to pat yourself on the back because you can easily identify where you are "winning" at school and life.
